Forensic Experts Continue Analysis of Bodies Found in València Building Fire

Forensic experts in València are working diligently alongside the National Police to identify the ten bodies found in the recent fire at a 14-story building in the Campanar neighborhood. The Institute of Legal Medicine (IML) of València is conducting autopsies in order to accurately identify all the deceased individuals.

The Superior Court of Justice of the Valencian Community has confirmed that once the forensic reports are completed, they will be sent to Investigative Court number 10 of Valencia. This court had ordered the autopsies on Friday and subsequently oversaw the removal of nine bodies from the scene.

The investigation into this tragic event is ongoing, with the court handling the case under a veil of secrecy. According to reports from TVE and A Punt, three of the ten bodies have already been identified by forensic experts. However, the discovery of a tenth body in the building has raised the death toll to ten.

Following the discovery of the additional victim, Court of Instruction number 11 of Valencia has taken charge of the situation. They have removed the body and are conducting the necessary forensic procedures to identify the deceased individual. The Superior Court of Justice continues to provide updates as the investigation progresses.
