ROME – From today, public administrations will have to allow access to their digital services also with the electronic identity card, in implementation of the provisions of the Simplifications decree. To date, there are over 19 million emissions of

But from today the digital doors of the PA are also open through Spid (Public Digital Identity System) and Cns (National Service Card).
Launched in 2016, the public digital identity system is a single login system for accessing public administration online services. Once requested and enabled, the Spid identity allows citizens and businesses to access services from any device: computer, smartphone and tablet.
Flexibility instead for municipalities under 5,000 inhabitants until the end of the pandemic emergency. «The data of accessions to access with the CIE of the public administration – reads the joint note of the Ministry of the Interior and Printing – are constantly growing, with 241 PA already enabled. With the new automated CIE digital identity federation service of the Ministry of the Interior, the adhesion of administrations will be even faster ». In 2020, over 5.5 million accesses to online services took place through Cie, 1.8 million were registered in January 2021 alone.
As for the Revenue Agency, from today «it will no longer be possible to obtain the Fisconline credentials, ie those of the Agency, and in the coming months those already in use will be progressively discontinued. It will therefore be necessary to have one of the three methods of identification and authentication, SPID, CIE or CNS, recognized for the online services of all public administrations and which can already be used to access the revenue services “. All the ways to get Spid are available on the site https://www.spid.gov.it/richiedi-spid.
So for the citizen who already uses SPID, CIE or CNS to access the telematic services of the Revenue, absolutely nothing changes. Citizens, on the other hand, who use the Fisconline credentials, provided by the Agency, will be able to continue to use them until the natural expiry date (and in any case no later than 30 September 2021), after which it will be necessary to be in possession of one of the three access keys.
Professionals and companies will be able to request Entratel, Fisconline or Sister credentials, issued by the Agency even after 1 March and up to the date that will be established with a specific implementing decree, as required by the Digital Administration Code.
