18 OTT – Dear Director,
It was March 2018, after the 2016 assignment session for the lacking areas of general medicine, where there were disputes regarding the assignment percentages for transfers, that the light bulb turned on that in Campania for access to the Profession in General Medicine was at limits of transparency and legality.
We began to denounce the serious media criticism, addressing the highest authorities of Campania’s health, culminating in two events, the first, on November 9, 2018 and the second, on May 10, 2019, both ended with a meeting with the regional institutions, without, for , having had a concrete answer in those moments.
On 10 May 2019 there was a meeting with Antonella Ciaramella, regional councilor at the time. Hon. Ciaramella listened to us and concretely helped us, trying to put every means in place to be able to give a manager to a regional office, where chaos and approximation were the masters, with the consequence of delays in publication and assignment of areas lacking in general medicine.
On September 1, 2020, the manager arrives: Dr. Annamaria Ferriero, with the role of Manager for the “Implementation of the regional plan of territorial health care”, who does an exceptional job, computerizing the applications for insertion and ” update in the regional ranking of general medicine and for the application for participation in the assignment of areas lacking in general medicine, in addition to carrying out a continuous pressing on the AASSLL to speed up the detection of the actual vacant areas, so that the Citizenship without family doctors , could have the new doctors.
We, Doctors without Careers, have continued our action of denunciation and we ourselves have pressed the managers of the seven Campania companies, so that they quickly communicate all the lacking areas to the Campania Region, for the purpose of their publication; on this we have not yet obtained the maximum because the lacking areas of general medicine have not been detected in real number in every company, but we are sure that this criticality will be solved.
On October 14, the assignment session for the areas lacking assistance ended
Primary 2021: the last doctor, to whom the Ischia-Casamicciola area has been assigned is Dr. Sabatino Russo, at the age of 36, with a score in the regional ranking of 10.30. An unthinkable result until a year ago.

Careers.
Now we can say that for access to General Medicine, the Campania Region is a normal region.
Doctors Without Careers are now Doctors on the front lines of the territories to defeat
definitively COVID-19 and for the management of all other pathologies, in particular chronic pathologies, in addition to making the precious preventive action for tumor pathologies. #GenerationalRichangeGeneral Medicine
