A small lesion to the gum that turns into a dark spot that gradually expands, with no other noticeable symptoms. A very rare pathology such as gingival melanoma was successfully treated at the San Paolo hospital in Milan on a 61-year-old woman.

Very little is known about this neoplasm, except that it can be very aggressive, leading to metastases in the lymph nodes, lung and liver, even after surgical removal, going unnoticed for many years.
