Giorgio Parisi, the first Italian physicist in the Nobel “antechamber”

It was made public today the Clarivate Citation Laureates 2021 which this year welcomes 16 new researchers of different nationalities, including Giorgio Parisi, full professor of Theoretical Physics at Sapienza in Rome, former President of the Accademia dei Lincei. The scholar, the first Italian to obtain this recognition, was awarded for “the revolutionary discoveries relating to quantum chromodynamics and the study of complex disordered systems”.
