The turnaround is another of the many ‘side effects’ of the Covid-19 emergency and is accounted for by the Global Fund which, since its establishment in 2002, has saved 44 million lives by decreasing, in the over 100 countries where invests, the number of deaths caused by AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria by 46%.
