Google’s Doodle for Margherita Hack, told by those who designed it (and creates another 349 a year)

by admin

Matthew Cruickshank is Google’s Art Lead, the illustrator behind many of the Doodles that appear daily on the homepage of the popular US search engine. “Mr. Doodle”, as we can define him, worked in London for Disney and also for Warner Bros. before moving to San Francisco, where he found a job at Google in 2012. Cruickshank designed the Doodle that pays homage to the Italian scientist Margherita Hack, who would have turned 99 on 12 June 2021.
