Green Pass: from the gym to the bar, in Palermo the first cases of “disobedience”

by admin

In a few hours the Green Pass will be mandatory in Italy and the first episodes of civil “disobedience” are registered, with owners of bars and plestre who are ready to open their doors to customers without asking for a “pass”.

The green pass will be mandatory to enter the restaurants indoors and to consume at the table also in the bars. Article 9 bis of the July decree provides for the use of green certification also for shows open to the public, sporting events and competitions; museums and other institutes and places of culture; indoor swimming pools, gyms, wellness centers – including those located inside accommodation facilities; festivals, fairs, conferences and congresses; spas, theme and amusement parks; cultural, social and recreational centers limited to indoor activities and with the exception of educational centers for children, including summer centers and related catering activities; gaming, betting, bingo and casino rooms; public competitions.

But there are those who say no. The manager of the Rosalba bar in Palermo, in via Ammiraglio Rizzo, takes sides against the green pass. A sign was displayed in the shop window. Here, too, the green pass will not be required. Thus we read: «In this exercise can enter: white, yellow, black, homosexuals, Martians, animals, vaccinated and not without any distinction. For us, our loyal customers are all the same. We are waiting for you ».

There is no green pass even in a gym in Borgetto (Palermo). «Here we don’t ask for the green pass to enter. You got it? Good. You do not have it? It’s OK anyway. We only want to do our job which is not to be the controllers ». This is what is written on a sheet hanging at the entrance of the palestrad by the owner David Daidone.

Daidone, who is the owner of the Gym body club, a gym in via Rosa Luxemburg, has already announced that he will not follow up the provision in any way. The man posted another flyer with a passage by the writer Primo Levi explaining how Italy entered the Nazi dictatorship. On his Facebook page stands the photo with the words “No green pass”.
