Green pass with the vaccine at the pharmacy? Here’s everything you need to know

Lazio and the Aosta Valley. But also Sicily (soon), and cities like Naples and Florence. These are currently the (few) Italian territories in which it is already possible to book and obtain the vaccine also in Pharmacy. In a few days, however, from 14 or 21 June, it should also be the turn of Lombardy, Piedmont, Umbria and Marche. The goal, declared both by the Commissioner for the emergency Francesco Figliuolo and by the various regional governors, is to make the immunization mechanism more widespread in order to further speed up the vaccination campaign, reach even the most reluctant to immunizations and over time send vaccination hubs are gradually being disused. “In the Rome area – the general explained at a press conference yesterday – some large hubs will be closed before mid-August”.

THE RULES
On the other hand, with the number of citizens to be vaccinated running out, the burden of services to be offered decreases and can be absorbed more easily. Even because pharmacies (like the many hospitals or, in some cases, general practitioners) they perform exactly the same functions as hubs. So, in other words, they can easily issue the health documentation useful for obtaining the so-called national green certification or, as soon as it becomes operational, the digital covid certificate of the European Union.
In fact, vaccination for 9 months gives the right, like a certificate of recovery for 6 months or a negative molecular swab carried out in the 48 hours prior to when the pass it is necessary, upon issue fifteen days after the first dose, of a paper or digital certification.

A document with a QR code to download from your electronic health record but also, soon, from the Io app and the Immuni app. Not only. There are also other tools to receive certification even for users who do not have a Spid or electronic identity card to access these services: such as receiving a code via email or text message. This code is combined with the last eight digits and the expiration of your health card and is valid exactly like the Green pass. Furthermore, with the aim of giving users as many channels as possible, it is also possible to download the certificate through your GP, pediatrics or the pharmacies themselves. Precisely in this sense, however, at the moment, the story is somewhat articulated and it would seem that not all structures are yet able to provide the vaccine pass materially even if from June 14 (in Lazio) or from June 15 (in the rest of the country) this is necessary, for example, to participate in a private party or a wedding banquet. However, the ways to obtain, as seen, are many and therefore there is no danger of not being able to receive your coveted Qr code.
