I hair, being the part of the body where there is less blood supply, they need to be ‘fed’ with quality. It has in fact been shown that the first form of nourishment for the hair is represented by what we eat every day.
An inadequate, unbalanced diet that lacks essential nutrients affects the health and well-being of our hair.
For this reason, here are some tips from the pharmacist Angelo Labrozzi, collaborator with the University of Chieti in the field of trichology and expert in the study of hair loss.
There are three foods that allow hair to be healthy:
– Salmon: the presence of omega-3 favors the well-being of the hair and skin avoiding dehydration; salmon is also rich in biotin, which helps hair regrowth
– Egg: once or twice a week they can nourish the hair and skin because they contain iron and B vitamins
– Fruit: both dry and fresh, it is rich in vitamin C which slows down the aging of the bulb and hair loss
In the presence of certain pathologies, nutritional deficiencies, periods of stress or in the face of the normal aging process, diet alone may not be enough. In this case it is necessary to resort to the use of food supplements that keep the scalp healthy.
When choosing supplements you have to be careful: in reality those that contain more components are not complete and better, but are actually less concentrated and less effective. Reason why it is better to choose one with fewer components, but those that are actually used for hair health.
