Head down: lightning will double in the next few years

Global warming has an effect from which it is not easy to escape: lightning. A study, carried out on the American territory, found that for each degree of temperature rise, they will increase by 12% and, due to the current trend, within the next hundred years the Planet will receive 50% more.

Already now, globally, 100 lightning strikes the ground every second, which means that every day there are 8 million.
