Sixteen companies in the Health world will compete for the victory of the Lean Award 2021, the Oscars of Italian healthcare: the award for the best reorganization projects in the Healthcare and Lifescience world, now in its fourth edition which has achieved an extraordinary participation of projects that have come almost from all regions of our country.
Several sectors have been analyzed and redesigned by healthcare professionals: from the optimization of the management of operating rooms, to new approaches in virology. From the prevention of falls in hospitals, to the virtuous passage of patients from the emergency room to the hospital wards. And again the process of treating obesity, the planning and administration of vaccinations, from the new criteria for managing outsourced services, up to the creation of a digital platform to deal with the Covid19 emergency. And then the whole area of the Day hospital and the computerization of therapies.
Already consolidated results for projects started with the satisfaction of professionals and above all patients. The finalist projects will be presented by the various teams during the live streaming on 27 October, Lean Day, visible to all on the Lean Award digital platforms.
The final event, in which the winning projects and professionals will be awarded, will take place on 11 November 2021 live in the location of Palazzo Brancaccio in Rome in an evening in which the complete scientific jury will be present.
The initiative, also visible live on social media, will open with the round table entitled “Lean and Operation Management in support of hospital-territory integration” in which strategic players in the national health sector will take part.
