Rome, April 9 (beraking latest news Salute) – The attitudes of Italians towards the Internet are changing. For 65.5%, the search for information is aimed at finding doctors or health facilities. Only 33.5% of Italians consult the Internet to make a diagnosis on their health.

The online search for information on treatments and therapies is also increasing (23.9%, + 10.2% compared to 2019) and on technologies and devices for health (18.8%, + 8.6% compared to 2019) . The family doctor is the reference for 76.6% of Italians who want information on their state of health, while 11.8% go to a specialist doctor.

The primacy of authority therefore remains with white coats. For 44.5% of Italians in the top two of reliability there is the general practitioner, for 38% the specialist. The reliability recognized to the pharmacist is also high compared to previous years: 7.1% put this professional figure in the first positions.
