Five days will be dedicated to health prevention. From 29 September to 3 October, the historic center of Piacenza will host the review “Health in the square”, a series of initiatives promoted by the Ausl in collaboration with the Municipality and some partners. As of today, citizens can book one of the 150 seats available on Thursday 30 September, from 9.30 to 15, to access the risk prevention and health promotion path. All the other events on the agenda will be free access. Here is the full program, below.
29 SEPTEMBER – DAY OF THE HEART
On the occasion of World Heart Day, the Progetto Vita Association brings the “Heart Village” to Piazza Cavalli, with gazebos representing all its partners. The initiative takes place in collaboration with the Piacenza Ausl, with the patronage of the Emilia Romagna Region, the Province and the Municipality of Piacenza.
At 10 am, in Palazzo Gotico, the XIII Memorial Maurizio Saltarelli is scheduled, with the awarding of the volunteers and crews who in the year 2019 and 2020 carried out interventions and rescues with a timely intervention thanks to the defibrillator.
Among others, the president of the Emilia-Romagna Region will be present Stefano Bonaccini, the virologist Fabrizio Pregliasco, the mayor of Piacenza Patrizia Barbieri and the general manager Ausl Luca Baldino.
30 SEPTEMBER – RISK PREVENTION AND HEALTH PROMOTION PATH
From 9.30 am to 3 pm, arcades of Palazzo Gotico, Piazza Cavalli
Path of risk prevention and health promotion: interviews with doctors for the collection of information regarding life habits and detection of the parameters of the person, to define a cardio-cerebro vascular risk profile.
The initiative takes place in collaboration with Lilt. The proposal is aimed at people aged between 40 and 75. It is advisable to bring the reports of the latest blood tests with you if done in the last 6 months.
Access is by appointment. To book you can:

2 OCTOBER – SCREENING OF THE ORAL CABLE and SCREENING ICTUS
From 9.30 am to 3 pm, arcades of Palazzo Gotico, Piazza Cavalli
Stroke risk screening by the Neurology department in collaboration with the Alice association.
Oral cavity screening in children and adults by dental professionals and awareness activities on the correct lifestyle in the prevention of mouth and throat cancer, caries and periodontal pathology.

OPEN DAY VACCINALI
Thursday 30 September, Friday 1 October and Saturday 2 September, under the arcades of Palazzo Gotico, anti-SARS-CoV-2 vaccination with direct access without reservation for people aged at least 12 from 4pm to 8pm.
OCTOBER 3 – KEEP YOUR HEART IN SHAPE
Cardiovascular risk assessment by the Cardiology departments from 10 am to 6 pm with free access.
The regional councilor for health Raffaele Donini, the mayor of Piacenza Patrizia Barbieri and the general manager Ausl Luca Baldino will be present.
ENTRANCE TO EVENTS
A Green pass is not required for entry and participation in outdoor events in Piazza Cavalli. The welcome is guaranteed by the volunteers of the Rotary Clubs of the Piacentino Group, who will be present every day, from 30 September to 3 October, to measure the temperature and fill in the access questionnaire. To participate in the Maurizio Saltarelli Memorial on 29 September in Palazzo Gotico, it is necessary to have a Green pass.
