Health: ‘Voci per la Salute’, a 12-episode podcast on well-being and research

by admin

Rome, May 28 (beraking latest news Salute) – A new podcast accessible to all. This is the latest addition to ‘Allies for Health‘, the health and wellness information project created by Novartis to ‘feel good according to science’. The podcast, dedicated to all those looking for clear answers on the major issues of health and research, kicks off today. Directed by the scientific journalist and radio and television presenter Silvia Bencivelli, it will be divided into 12 episodes giving a voice to different guests, including doctors, researchers, patients, caregivers, health professionals and influencers.

The innovative podcast project will include 12 episodes: each episode will explore specific health and wellness issues, addressed in a simple and accurate way. A ‘meeting place’ between health experts and the general public, with the task of resolving doubts and dispelling false myths, referring to the authority of science.

We start today with ‘Salvare la pelle’, to talk about prevention and the delays caused by the pandemic, together with Monica Forchetta of Aipam (Association of Italy melanoma patients) and the psychotherapist and writer Domenico Barrilà. All podcasts will be available on the Allies for Health website and other distribution platforms: Castbox, Spotify, Apple podcasts, Google Podcasts, Spreaker and Deezer.

This enriches the ‘Allies for Health‘ project, born about 10 years ago from the collaboration between Novartis and some of the most important patient associations. Alleatiperlasalute.it has the task of conveying authoritative and ‘certified’ medical scientific information, exploiting the potential of digital technologies, multidisciplinarity and specialist skills. The portal is now accessible to all with the editorial-informative section. In the next few months it will be enriched with two areas reserved for associations of patients and health professionals. The platform is a candidate to become a tool for scientific dissemination and communication, reliable and accessible to all, on issues concerning health and well-being in contrast to fake news, thanks to the work of collection and revision by an Advisory Board, set up by exponents of the medical, scientific and associative world.

“The pandemic has accelerated the digital revolution in health – underlines Angela Bianchi, head of communication and patient involvement at Novartis Italy – and highlighted the need to improve diagnostic and therapeutic pathways and promote correct diagnosis, rapid access to care for a better adherence to therapy. Novartis’ mission – he says – is to re-imagine medicine: with this project we wanted to give a tangible response to the ever increasing demand for health, leveraging digital technology to bring the various players in the system closer together, respond in real time to specific questions and thus be ever closer to patients “.

The site has already hosted the Health Talks since January, a series of webcasts on current affairs and health issues. The launch of the Voices for Health channel completes this journey, using an easy-to-use medium such as the podcast, which is increasingly widespread and appreciated, to offer the opportunity to listen to the opinions of valid experts within an open and profitable dialogue.
