The first piece of news is the one that will materialize further in time, but it is also the most important: the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, the new smartphones from Google, will also arrive in Italy (and also in Spain), contrary to fears and rumors circulated until shortly before the official presentation. They will only do so “in the first part of 2022”, but it is still good news.
Why is this good news? Because the new googlephones, especially the 6 Pro, this year seem very promising: new processor, developed internally by Google, improved cameras, new operating system, greater attention to the use of artificial intelligence. And they also cost little. Better: they cost little in relation to the characteristics, less than what might have been expected and even less than last year’s Pixel 5.
According to the latest information, they should start at $ 599 and $ 899 respectively, against the $ 699 from which the Pixel 5 of 2020 started.

Both smartphones take advantage of the new Tensor processor, combined with 8 Gb of Ram in the Pixel 6 and 12 Gb in the 6 Pro, in both cases with 128 or 256 Gb of internal memory.
The Pixel 6 ha display Amoled Fhd+ da 6,4″ with 90Hz refresh rate, 4615 mAh battery and two rear cameras: the main one of 50 megapixels and a wide angle of 12 Mp and is Ip68 certified against water and dust.
The Pixel 6 Pro ha display Ltpo Qhd da 6,7″ with variable refresh rate up to 120Hz, 5000 mAh battery (with fast charge at 30W and wireless at 23) and 3 rear cameras: the main 50 megapixel camera, a 4x 48 Mp telephoto lens and a 12 Mp wide angle lens and he too is obviously certified Ip68 against water and dust.
