Sometimes we struggle to get fit. Doctors recommend a certain amount of exercise every day, but we always seem to have no time. So we often postpone the moment in which to start running consistently or we continue to remain subscribers to the gym without ever going there.
Also, even when we decide to do some exercise, many of us don’t know what exercises to do. We are afraid of doing something too demanding and getting injured. Or more simply, we just don’t know which activities are best for beginners.
Those we will talk about today are not exercises to do in the gym, but they can be inserted in everyday life. So, here are the simple physical exercises we could all do even if we are out of practice.
The easy activities
According to the Istituto Superiore di Sanità, regular physical activity could have excellent effects on our health. It could lower our stress levels, strengthen our skeleton and muscles, and even allow us to sleep better. It could also improve blood pressure and decrease the risk of contracting a variety of diseases.
Also according to the ISS, in Italy there is not enough physical activity and a third of adults under 70 do not reach the minimum recommended levels of exercise. This could increase the incidence of various types of disorders, linked precisely to excessive sedentary lifestyle.

So how do you try to increase your physical activity? According to experts, at least two and a half hours of exercise per week are required for adults. Many of us, however, have very busy lives and struggle to go to the gym two or three times a week.
For these reasons, the ISS recommends very simple exercises that everyone can do. A useful exercise would be to go to work on foot or by bicycle. Unless we are smart working, therefore, we can practice simply by going to work. Of course, not everyone can do it, because maybe they live far away and therefore are forced to take public transport or the car. In this case, you could park a little further than usual or get off the bus one stop earlier. Then the rest of the journey is covered on foot or by bike.
Another tip would be to take the stairs instead of the elevator. Or start a hobby, like gardening, that requires us to do some exercise.
