Today, Friday 3 September 2021, the General Manager of the Ulss 5 Company has appointed the Director of the Gastroenterology Complex Operating Unit, Dr. Alessandro Pezzoli. “This appointment marks the beginning of the path that will lead to the coverage of top management which, in our company, are vacant. In October, two competitions will be held to cover the primary degrees of the complex operating structures of orthopedics and traumatology of the Rovigo, Trecenta and Adria hospitals – explains the General Manager Dr. Patrizia Simionato – in the month of November the completion of a further 4 competitions, and in December another 5 competition tests will be carried out, all dedicated to the appointment of vacant senior positions in the Company “
Doctor Alessandro Pezzoli, 54, graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Bologna, specializing in the same university in Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy, to date, as a medical director in the discipline of gastroenterology at the ‘Ferrara University Hospital, he served as company manager of the regional colorectal cancer screening program. In recent years he has acquired extensive experience in the field of diagnostic and operational digestive endoscopy, including endoscopy of the biliary tract and echo-endoscopy, boasting an important case history from both a quantitative and qualitative point of view.
He has held various teaching positions, since 2018 he is an adjunct professor of “gastroenterological pathologies” in the specialty school in endocrinology. Alessandro Pezzoli has also coordinated multicentre studies on the use of the video capsule and collaborates with the Institute of Genetics of the University of Ferrara for studies on celiac disease and colon cancer. Rich scientific activity and significant experiences of publications in international and national journals.
