The rumors have indeed become a reality. At today’s Xbox and Bethesda joint game introduction meeting, Hideo Kojima appeared on the stage and announced that his next game will be handed over to Xbox Game Studios for publishing. He said that he has always wanted to create a game that can bring players an “unprecedented” experience, and now thanks to Microsoft’s cloud technology, everything has become possible. But not surprisingly, Kojima “will take some time” to prepare for the work.
Reporter Tom Henderson has previously reported that Kojima’s next work will be a thriller game called “Overdose”, in which he saw the actor Margaret Qualley walking through the scene with a flashlight. After the article came out, Kojima Studio asked Henderson to withdraw the content, which may also prove the authenticity of the report to a certain extent.
