A free climber was injured on the climbing wall in Brentino Belluno.
A free climber from Treviso accidentally injured his foot this morning, around 1pm, at Castel Presina on Monte Cimo, in Brentino Belluno. NB, 28 years old, from Treviso, he was parked because he was recovering his partner when he was hit one foot from a stone fallen from above, resulting in a suspected fracture.
The Verona emergency helicopter flew to the scene and lowered the helicopter rescue technician with a 20-meter winch. The victim was hoisted aboard, where the doctor immediately began to take care of him, while later the second climber was also recovered. The wounded man was then entrusted to the ambulance which left for the Negrar hospital; the friend was taken over by an Alpine Rescue team who took him back to the car.
