L’Asl 1 Imperiese has decided to close, as part of a summer reorganization, the distribution of Medicine Women of the Hospital of Imperia. A measure that it is of great concern for the future unions and health personnel.
Imperia: Asl closes the women’s medicine department of the hospital for the summer
L’Asl has already communicated its own decision all trade union representatives. A decision that, according to what it filters, it would have created quite a few discontent both among the unions and among the health personnel.
In detail, we will pass by two departments, with 45 beds, 25 Medicine Men e 20 Medicine Women, yet department only, with men and women, with 27 total beds.
The healthcare personnel which results in supernumerary, 18 units, seen the closing of an entire department, it will come dislocated in other departments, in particular, as regards the nurses, 5 in intensive cardiac care, 3 in operating room, 1 in neurology, 1 in surgery, 1 in Pneumology e 1 in the new single department of medicine.
As for the US, they will be assigned to team transport inside the hospital of Imperia.
The concerns of the trade unions and health workers mainly concern the risk that the Emergency room, due to the lack of beds in Medicine, risks further crowding. The Emergency room, in the last period, it turns out overcrowded with dozens of accesses every hour.
