Two years after the start of the pandemic, Covid deaths have exceeded 5.55 million worldwide. This is what the official figures say. But the true death toll is far from that number. Demographers, data scientists and public health experts have no doubts about it, who have calculated that a more realistic number is between eleven and twenty-two million deaths worldwide, double to four times the official numbers.
