It is Big G’s first physical store and is located in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan. Created using sustainable materials, the store – like those of other companies, from Apple to Xiaomi – offers the opportunity to touch the products, to see them at work and of course to buy them. It is also possible to repair broken Google devices with the help of a specific Help Desk. The most intriguing space is perhaps the one dedicated to the imagination: a circular glass structure about 5 meters high that features interactive screens and rotating showcases displaying a variety of Google products and technologies.
In the past, Google has opened a few temporary pop-up stores in various parts of the world, but so far the only place to physically purchase its products was the Mountain View, California office. The company has not announced any other future openings.
