Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Facebook and Microsoft eco-patents to accelerate the adoption of low-carbon technologies will be available to all through the Low-Carbon Patent Pledge initiative. “As part of the HPE-led initiative, hundreds of patents that could support experts developing low-carbon solutions for low-carbon energy generation, storage and distribution will be available royalty-free.” reads in a note.

Thanks to these patents, we hope to help accelerate and encourage innovation by allowing others to build on the basis of our work”.
