About a quarter of emissions of greenhouse gases comes from the production of food and therefore it is important to act consciously, to consume less carne e dairy productsprefer seasonal products from short supply chains, reduce waste and choose organic and zero kilometer products.
But also the choice of fruit can have an impact on the environment. In fact, often exotic fruit that is imported from distant countries requires large quantities of water and energy for transport and production. It would therefore be better to favor the choice of seasonal fruit and fruit from local and sustainable crops.
