Archip is one of the over 14,000 permanent employees of Amazon in Italy, 4,500 of which were hired in 2021. They are divided between the 50 sorting and distribution centers, the management offices in Milan, the assistance center in Cagliari, the innovation lab in Vercelli, the development centers of Turin and Asti and the data centers in Lombardy.
At the end of 2019, there were 6,900 permanent employees: in two years they have more than doubled. The American experience cannot be superimposed on the Italian one “, says Morini.
