PALERMO – The first plant in Southern Italy for the production of Ffp3 masks is located in Carini, in the Palermo area. It is in the area that once belonged to the former Keller, where rolling stock was produced, and taken over by the Montalbano group, which is part of the Polo MihS-Industrie Meccatronica Sicilia, the newco established within the District to support supplies ” made in Sicily “of the entire health chain of anti-Covid protection and safety devices. In addition to Montalbano, it includes the Puleo company in Marsala and Hotaly in the industrial area of ​​Catania.

The Ffp3 have obtained the certification from Inail, so the lines, already ready for a few months, are producing at full capacity. The plants have a production capacity of 20 thousand pieces per day.
