The Veluwemeer Aqueduct creates a surprising optical illusion. The cars that run on the N302 highway seem to disappear under a 25-meter-long water channel that crosses the two carriageways perpendicularly. The water ‘bridge’ is located near the city of Harderwijk and was inaugurated in 2002.
