by admin

Twenty dates, over 100 speakers and networking opportunities in the name of innovation: these are the two days of Innovabiomed, the network place for biomedical innovation, scheduled for 2 and 3 July at the Palaexpo in Verona.

The mission of this second edition is focused on the multidisciplinary approach to connect different skills and professionalism, able to contribute to the growth of a sector which, although committed at the forefront of the health emergency, is by nature oriented towards the future: the event is organized by Veronafiere in collaboration with Distrettobiomedicale.it and will take place entirely in the presence, obviously in full compliance with anti-Covid regulations.

If hackers attack our hospitals

The pandemic has highlighted the importance of health as an indispensable value, demonstrating the resilience of a rapidly changing sector that must be able to provide rapid and effective responses to urgent problems: on the one hand, the coronavirus has been an accelerator of change; on the other hand, it has led to inevitable slowdowns in some areas of the health system. According to what was highlighted during the presentation of the event, “it is now fair to ask ourselves how overcome the logic of emergency looking at the challenges of the medium and long term and how to capitalize on what has happened, supporting innovation “.

The two-day program includes conferences, round tables, workshops and a business area with the presence of highly innovative companies: among the speakers, the top experts in the sector are expected, from the research to the production field. Some of the most interesting innovations in the biomedical field will be presented at Innovabiomed, as solutions for 3d printing and bio-printing, advanced technologies for the visualization and analysis of clinical data, technologies for orthopedics and rehabilitation, but also solutions for the design and prototyping of medical devices. Again: digital health, regenerative medicine, robotics, artificial intelligence, theranostics and precision oncology are just some of the issues that will be addressed during the different moments of study.
