Insomniac Games is developing a multiplayer game for PS5-

by admin

Just after launching two single-player games “Spider-Man: Miles Moras” and “Rajet and Clark: Time and Space” for the Playstation 5, it seems that Insomniac Games is now making some products that focus on multiplayer.

The source of the information is Insomniac GamesTwitterWrite about job opportunities: “Insomniac is hiring! We have provided 5 new job openings for multiplayer game planning. Join us and become a member of #PlaystationStudiosFamily because we are working on exciting things!” One of the roles recruited by “Multiplayer Game Planning” is a system designer. He should work on “multiplayer game functions, mechanisms, system design, etc.”.

It seems that Sony is currently preparing a lot of multiplayer games, because Guerrilla Games, London Studio, Naughty Dog, Sucker Punch and now Insomniac and other developers are looking for employees with multiplayer experience. Sony also owns exclusive third-party games from Jade Raymond’s new developers Haven Entertainment Studios and Firewalk Studios, the latter of which has also been confirmed as a multiplayer game.

Sony recently made it clear that they will “develop more service-led experiences within the first-party lineup”, so we assume that at least some of the studios listed above are making real-time service-type games.
