Intel Arc A730M performance exposure! Intel has re-entered the independent graphics core market with the Arc series. The Arc A730M is a mid-to-high-end model with up to 3,072 SHADING UNITS, 192-bit 12GB GDDR6 memory, and is positioned close to the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 mobile graphics core. Recently, the actual game performance of Intel Arc A730M was leaked on the Internet, and it was found that its performance only reached the level of RTX 3050.
Leaked online are the test results of the Intel Arc A730M engineering sample. The games tested include “F1 2020”, “Metro Exodus” and “Assassin’s Creed Odyssey”. At FHD 1080p settings, Arc A730M’s “Metro Exodus” and “F1 2020” average FPS of 70FPS and 123FPS respectively, while “Assassin’s Creed Odyssey” is only 38FPS. Moving to the 1440p setting, the Arc A730M still hit 55FPS and 95FPS in Metro Exodus and F1 2020, while Assassin’s Creed Odyssey dropped to 32FPS.

In contrast, the performance of the Arc A730M graphics card in “Metro Exodus” is roughly equivalent to the mobile version of RTX 3060, while “F1 2020” and “Assassin’s Creed Odyssey” are only equivalent to the lower-level RTX 3050 level. In addition, Arc A730M in the game test of “Metro Exodus” and “Assassin’s Creed Odyssey”, the minimum FPS in some scenes is lower than 10FPS, which affects the smoothness. Of course, only Beta drivers are used in the test, so the game performance still needs to be optimized.
