We can take home the iPhone 13 (normal, Pro, Max, Mini…) at a discounted price, thanks to a telephone operator. The discounts this year offered by this mode are double those of last year, according to an analysis by SosTariffe.it: on average 10% on the list price (compared to 5% last year, with the iPhone 12).
And, from our research on the operators’ websites, it appears that some combinations grant discounts of up to 150 euros. For those who are lucky to win them, of course. In fact, we often come across the words “finished product” on the websites.
It is no mystery that the chip crisis has also affected the production of the iPhone 13 this year. Apple is ready to scale back its production targets for the new one, cutting them by 10 million units compared to forecasts. Chip availability for various products is still far below demand worldwide.
The offers of the operators
Anyway, those with patience should be able to get the iPhone 13 at a reduced price with one of the operators. Some allow you to choose between payment in installments or in a single (cheaper) solution; others are in installments. Only Vodafone asks to match the iPhone 13 to one of its offers, while the others do not have this constraint. From our analysis, however, it also seems that the greatest discounts are with Vodafone.
The new SOStariffe.it Observatory analyzed the offers of mobile telephone operators for the purchase of the new iPhone 13 in installments. their price lists the smartphones presented by Apple last September. The results of the study were then compared with the offers in effect in the fall of 2020 on the occasion of the launch of the iPhone 12 range.
The biggest savings with the most expensive smartphones
According to SosTariffe.it, the savings are greater with the most expensive iPhone 13. The study confirms, in fact, how by choosing the 256 GB cut (both for the normal iPhone 13 and for the Pro variants) it is possible to save on average 11% on the total expenditure for the purchase of the smartphone.
With the 128 GB “basic” cut, on the other hand, the savings are lower and go down to 7%. The figure in question is in clear counter-trend compared to last year. The offers for the iPhone 12 in installments, in fact, were more convenient by choosing the entry level model (from 64 for the iPhone 12 and 128 GB for the Pro variants). In this case, in fact, the savings guaranteed by the installment offers reached up to 15% compared to the price list for the iPhone 12 and up to 9% for the Pro variants.
