In confirmation of what has been said, a Korean study published in the Heart magazine and reported by the Veronesi Foundation, delves into the correlation between some foods and heart health.

Specifically, the study conducted in Seoul deals with the possibility of preventing atherosclerotic plaques by taking a drink that we tend to avoid.
Yet it seems that a moderate consumption of 3 to 5 cups of coffee per day would be a suitable defense against blockage of the arteries. To hear it seems absurd but this common drink would remove the risk of heart attack and stroke while keeping the coronary arteries healthy.
The research was conducted on a sample of 25,000 people consuming coffee in varying quantities, all around the age of 40.
Coffee and coronary calcium
The purpose of the analyzes was to evaluate the ideal consumption of coffee to lower coronary calcium values. This is one of the early indicators of cardiovascular phenomena of which a lower value has been recorded in subjects who, in fact, consume 3-5 cups of coffee a day.
Of course, scholars take time to deepen the research but, nevertheless, they seem to have found an inversely proportional link between coffee and cardiovascular disease.

This is not the first time that research has been carried out on the beneficial effects of coffee. In fact, it was the International Agency for Research on Cancer that promoted in-depth studies on the link between coffee and cancer pathologies. In addition, a study conducted at the Gemelli Hospital aims to highlight the defense capabilities of coffee against blood sugar levels.
In fact, in addition to the benefits discussed so far, coffee could help reduce the possibility of cancer and diabetes.
