It also seems that those same polyphenols act on the same proteins on which some of the most recent anti-cancer drugs exert their action.

How to prepare it at home
To prepare a very healthy and tasty apple juice we will need only 4 ingredients:
- half a liter of water;
- 60 grams of sugar;
- 4 ounces of apples of the same variety;
- 40 cl of lemon juice.
Let’s start by peeling the apples and cutting them into pieces as small as possible. Let’s wet them with lemon and let them rest for a few minutes.
In the meantime we put the water on the fire and before it has reached the boiling temperature we melt the sugar. Boil for three minutes and we can also add the pieces of apple to the pot. We keep another 4-5 minutes at the same temperature and then turn off the stove. We blend everything and put the juice in previously sterilized glass bottles.
Once cooled, the juice will keep in the fridge for 3 or 4 days.
