E-bike sharing flies, the operators of this green service multiply in half of Europe and now the Italian Vaimoo, arrives in Stockholm, after having demonstrated its reliability in Copenhagen, Rotterdam and several English and Polish cities. It must be said that Stockholm will be one of the largest public e-bike sharing services in Europe and among the largest in the world as Vaimoo will provide this city with 5100 smart e-bikes, entirely developed and produced in Italy.

The landing in Stockholm is the result of an agreement between CityBike Global (Moventia Group, present in Europe and Latin America with over 30,000 vehicles) and the municipality of Stockholm for the implementation of the new city e-bike sharing service: CityBike Global has chosen the Italian Vaimoo for the supply of smart electric bicycles. Why “smart”? “Because – they explain to Vaimoo – our e-bikes will be connected to a flexible management system that can be integrated with existing systems and which will allow the reduction of urban disorder thanks to the possibility of activating virtual stations where to park the vehicles after the rental”.
The Stockholm e-bike is a version derived from the CES 2021 award-winning e-bike, adapted to meet the mobility needs of this specific city.
