Hawaiian food grafted into a jungle atmosphere, a new, highly original place arrives in Pisa. To make the announcement Massimiliano Susini, enterprising young entrepreneur, 25, who has decided to embark on an adventure with the flavor of a challenge. “I practiced sport at a competitive level, and I learned firsthand how body care, health and well-being are fundamental values for living a good life”.
The place is called ‘Kaiora non solo poke by Max’, open for lunch and dinner, is located on Lungarno Mediceo, and will be inaugurated on Friday 22 October. The invitation, addressed to young people, but not only to them, is to take care of their body: “Kaiora in the Maori language means healthy food. The pandemic has reminded us how important the value of health is in the lives of all of us. L’attention to what you drink and eat is crucial. It is no coincidence that in the creation of the menu I joined a nutritionist biologist to enhance the anti-oxidant and slim elements. In this project he played an important role and it means a lot, because our restaurant wants to become a multiplier of well-being and healthy food ”.
The main dish will be theepoch, a single dish consisting of rice, meat, vegetables and fruit, typical of the Hawaiian Islands. “Selected by a starred chef, it will obviously not be the only one on our menu – explains Massimiliano – with the same healthy philosophy, the menu also offers tartare, avocado-based toast and an era exclusively of fruit”.
Care and attention to detail, with a view to health, also for aperitifs and drinks: “I our soft drinks will be entirely organic. No carbonated drinks or classic fruit juices. Organic and territorial labels also for rigorously crafted wine and beer “.
Massimiliano chose Pisa for his first venue: “I hope the city appreciates my effort and that the business can grow in Italy and also abroad”
Confcommercio has supported the place step by step in all phases, from the conception, to the financing, to all the procedures necessary for the opening. “We wish this young entrepreneur a good job, to whom we wish all the possible fortunes, and to whom we will never fail our support” the words of the director Federico Pieragnoli.
