Maneuver: ok to stabilize the precarious hired for CoVid emergency
The Council of Ministers met on Thursday 28 October 2021, at 15.55 at Palazzo Chigi, under the chairmanship of President Mario Draghi.
The measures taken here were summarized in press release n.44 (attached below)
Below is a summary of the decisions regarding health:
– For 2022, approximately 1.8 billion are planned for the purchase of anti-Covid vaccines and medicines.
– The National Health Fund is financed with an additional 2 billion euros each year until 2024. Additional resources are allocated to the fund for innovative drugs, for a total of 600 million over the three-year period.
– Scholarships for medical specialists are significantly increased and permanently increased to 12,000 per year.
– The bodies of the National Health Service are authorized to stabilize the staff hired on a fixed-term basis during the emergency.
To know in detail the measures mentioned above, and therefore also the parameters that will establish who can be stabilized or not, it will be necessary to wait for the final text of the maneuver to be made public, hopefully within the day.
