Maybo Brothers Animated Film Announced Delayed to Spring 2023 – PCM

Nintendo representative director and film co-producer Shigeru Miyamoto announced today via Twitter that the animated film “The Brothers”, which was originally scheduled to be released this Christmas, will be postponed to spring 2023. The new release date is April 7 in North America and April 28 in Japan.

Shigeru Miyamoto said that in order to make a set of interesting movies, I hope you will give them more time. He said the decision to delay was made in consultation with Chris Meledandri, the founder of Illumination Entertainment, which is in charge of production, and an outside director at Nintendo, but did not give a specific reason for the delay.

The animated film “Bad Brothers” was announced in 2018, and was produced by Illumination Entertainment, which produced “Bad Guy Award Doorman”. It was originally scheduled to be released this Christmas. One of the most eye-catching aspects of the film is the use of a number of Hollywood stars as voices, including the voice of “Guardians of the Galaxy” protagonist Chris Pratt as Mario and Anya Taylor-Joy as the princess.
