A new degree course in Medicine was born in Puglia, in Casamassima (Bari), thanks to the collaboration between the Lum University and the Miulli hospital. The work of the conference, coordinated by the professor Francesco Hotel, operating director of Lum, were opened by the professor Antonello Garzoni, rector of the University Lum. “The birth of the degree course in Medicine – said Garzoni – was an important challenge, a challenge won by Puglia in a context in which there is the need to have more and more doctors who look at the health profession from a perspective The new course of Medicine and Surgery was born in the context of a vision that tends to de-hospitalization favored by a process of synergy with general practitioners thanks to new technologies and remote diagnostics “.
