Melegatti, withdrawn a batch of Pandoro for “presence of foreign bodies”

The Veronese Melegatti recalled as a precaution a lot of her Original Pandoro for the “possible presence of foreign bodies” in “hard plastic”. The report is also present on the website of the Ministry of Health.

The sweets in question are sold in packs of 750 grams with the lot number “210917” and the minimum shelf life of 30 April 2022. Pandoro with “appearance and / or shape and / or structure not perfect” belonging to to the same production batch, and sold in packs of 740 grams.

The recalled batch of Pandoro was produced by Melegatti 1894 Spa in the San Giovanni Lupatoto plant (Verona).

As a precaution, the company recommends not consuming the cake with the indicated batch number and returning it to the point of purchase.
