Ministry, after heat the green sticker returns for the next 3 days – Medicine

After the heat wave that accompanied the bridge on 2 June, the badges on the heat waves expected for the next 3 days are returning to green. This was indicated by the Ministry of Health on the bulletin portal on heat waves in Italy, which monitors 27 Italian cities. Heat waves occur when very high temperatures occur for several consecutive days, often associated with high humidity, strong solar radiation and no ventilation. These climatic conditions can pose a health risk to the population. To prevent its possible effects, the ministry publishes daily, with forecasts at 24, 48 and 72 hours, the bulletins prepared by the Lazio Region SSR Epidemiology Department, as part of the national operational system for forecasting and preventing the effects of heat on health, coordinated from the ministry. The operating system, activated every summer, makes it possible to identify, on a daily basis, the weather-climatic conditions at risk for health, especially for vulnerable subjects: the elderly, the chronically ill, children, pregnant women. The monitored cities are: Ancona, Bari, Bologna, Bolzano, Brescia, Cagliari, Campobasso, Catania, Civitavecchia, Florence, Frosinone, Genoa, Latina, Messina, Milan, Naples, Palermo, Perugia, breaking latest news, Reggio Calabria, Rieti, Rome, Turin, Trieste, Venice, Verona, Viterbo. In none of these, on 8, 9 and 10 June there are yellow, orange or red stickers. The heat wave bulletins are also available through the Heat and Health app, available online for Android devices on Google Play. From the Ministry portal it is possible to download brochures and information material on how to protect yourself.
