Montblanc unveils new Wear OS 3 watch ahead of Pixel Watch

Just when the outside world thought that the Google Pixel Watch released in May would be the first non-Samsung smartwatch to use Wear OS 3, the German luxury brand Montblanc released the Summit 3 smartwatch yesterday, but preempted the Pixel Watch. The Montblanc Summit series launched the first generation in 2017, and the second generation was released the following year, and the third generation used the Wear OS 3 system.

Montblanc said that Summit 3 offers a variety of strap options, in addition to rubber straps suitable for outdoor sports, there are also Sven calf leather styles. In addition to the titanium body design similar to other models of the brand, Montblanc also specially designed a variety of models for the Summit 3, which can reflect the traditional watchmaking surface of the manufacturer and the surface that integrates the function of watch widgets.

Montblanc has not disclosed the detailed specifications of the Summit 3, but it is determined to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 4100+ processor, pre-loaded Wear OS 3 system and has a larger battery than the previous generation, and has functions such as heart rate monitoring and blood oxygen level detection. The Montblanc Summit 3 is available in black, grey and two-tone mixed body options, priced at 1,250 euros (about 10,368 Hong Kong dollars), and will be available globally on July 15.
