Starting from today, Wednesday 26 Aprilfor the first time you can request online the change of residence from one municipality to another in Italy or repatriation from abroad, directly from site of the National Resident Population Registry (Anpr).
The ministry for technological innovation and that of the interior, together with Sogeiannounced that the new service, which is added to the possibility of downloading the registry certificates and allows adults registered in the National Registry to make some requests online: change of residence for the transfer from any municipality to another on the national territoryrepatriation from abroad for Italian citizens registered in AIRE and change of residence in the same Municipality, on the national territory.

After a first application phase, which began in Februarythe service is extended to all Italian localities: you will be able to access the registry section, in the area reserved for citizen services, with your digital identity (CIE, Spid or CNS), fill in the request online for yourself and for family members e send it automatically to the Municipality competent, following the indications published in the service area.
You can send a request for: new residencewhich concerns the transfer to a new home, even where there are already people with whom there are no family or emotional ties; existing family residence, indicating one of the members of the family to which one joins. Finally, from the reserved area you can consult the progress of the request submitted and indicate an email where to receive updates.
