Netalia alongside OneZone to bring schools to the Italian Cloud

by admin

It is no coincidence that among the Services for schools suggested by Miur does not find a place in Google’s Classroom, while it appears OneZone, Italian platform for the DAD.

The platform offers tools for conducting videoconferencing lessons, with particular attention to BES (Special Educational Needs), SLD (Specific Learning Disorders), blind and deaf. The project is only at the beginning, but it can already boast 27 schools, for a total of 22 thousand students and more than 8 thousand hours of lessons. In addition to offering a collaborative e-learning system between teachers, the platform also allows you to schedule events, assign tasks, queries, checks.

Above all, the platform focuses on data protection. This is demonstrated by the collaboration started with Netalia, Italian public cloud, which guarantees the highest levels of privacy, security and legal traceability of data.

As part of the DAD, the Guarantor Authority has established that schools will not have to ask for any authorization from students, teachers and parents, as long as the data are used only for the purpose of providing educational services. Netalia goes further, expanding the perimeter of control, in fact it guarantees the physical, legal and legal residence of the data processed in Italy. “When we talk about cloud it almost seems that its main value is given by technology in the strict sense – underlines Michele Zunino, CEO of Netalia -. It is clear that it is not invariant, but our most important task is, if anything, to bend it so that it meets precise regulatory standards to which the applications and data we manage on behalf of our partners are subject, as in the case of the DAD projects that we carry out with OneZone “.
