Multiple sclerosis, stroke and dementia. These will be the central themes of the fourth edition of the “Highlghts in Neurology” congress which will take place in Caltanissetta on 1 and 2 October. The congress will be chaired by doctor Michele Vecchio, regional president of the Italian Society of Neurology, director of the Neurology department of the Sant’Elia hospital and director of the Asp Hospital Medicine Department of Caltanissetta. There will be speakers from the University of Geneva and the University of Milan who contributed to the discovery and use of Aducanumab, which is the new drug for the treatment of Alzheimer’s, a monoclonal antibody registered in the United States, and most likely used in Europe and Italy at the end in 2022. The congress is expected to be attended by over 120 people, mostly from Sicily. To anticipate the topics of the conference, in the interview with Rita Cinardi the doctor Michele Vecchio.
