Anticipating the diagnosis of ovarian cancer could be possible with a new test that analyzes the chemical composition of the uterine fluid. In particular, the exam is based on the search for 7 chemical substances present in the uterine fluid, identified in a clinical study just published in Cell Reports Medicine. The new system has proven to be more effective than the current mainstream tool for diagnosing ovarian cancer. An important result considering that today the disease is usually detected late with serious consequences for the patients. Epithelial ovarian cancer is in fact asymptomatic for most of its course, so when you go to a doctor it has already reached an advanced stage, difficult to cure.
