Reassuring news for patients who used the San Fior Integrated Group Medicine service after the meeting between the representatives of Ulss 2 Marca Trevigiana and the mayors of San Fior, Godega di Sant’Urbano and Orsago.

The local health company reassured the mayors by explaining that the termination of the exercise contract for Integrated Group Medicine will not have any negative repercussions for patients.

The Ulss 2, in fact, offered the possibility to general practitioners Francesco Pizzolon, Claudio Dalla Torre, Elisabetta Drusian, Elena Villani e Alfonso Feis to remain in the current headquarters in via Mel 13 in San Fior.

The institution had terminated the contract for the exercise of the Integrated Group Medicine of San Fior following an in-depth investigation by the District Management, also in the face of numerous reports and protests from citizens.

The local health company, as soon as it receives all the information from the doctors, will provide citizens with the hours of activities, telephone numbers and procedures for receiving patients (free access or by appointment).

“I want to reassure the Sanfioresi about the situation of general practitioners of Integrated Group Medicine – said the mayor Giuseppe Maset – No citizen will be without service from 1 August. Next week all patients will be informed by Ulss 2 on the location of the clinic where they will be received, which may be in the current location or in another clinic, and the telephone contact and reception hours of their doctor will be made available. Basic”.

Maset specified that from next week it will make available to citizens a telephone contact to which they can contact for information and any reports.

“From 1 August, citizens will call their doctor without first having to contact the secretariat of Integrated Group Medicine – concludes the mayor of San Fior – It will therefore be easier to call your doctor without too many steps. Now it will also be easier to understand the problems and I will personally collect the complaints which, this time, cannot be more generic because citizens will have a single person with whom to interface.”.

After citing the famous Latin phrase “Vox populi, vox Dei” with respect to the dissatisfaction of citizens, the mayor recalled that his goal has always been to avoid controversy by seeking a solution and promoting dialogue between the various parties.

Many hope that the doctors of Integrated Group Medicine will choose to stay in the same structure to minimize inconvenience: in any case, the possible identification of a new clinic will be communicated to patients in time.
