This was explained by the president of the National Federation of Medical Orders, Filippo Anelli, with reference to the suspensions initiated by the local health authorities of various regions after the ministry clarified that there is no need for a specific rule or a provision or an executive measure for the decree that introduced the vaccination obligation for health professionals.
However, there are not many doctors who have not yet been vaccinated. According to the secretary of the largest union of hospital doctors, Anaao-Assomed, Carlo Palermo, they would be no more than 0.2%, circa 2-300. But the figure concerns only doctors, not all health professionals.
Pediatricians, on the other hand, sound an alarm: of the 4.2 million cases of Sars-CoV-2 infection, 638 thousand involved under 19, 26 victims. 5.5%, or 231,338 cases, is represented by children between 0 and 9 years, with 11 deaths; 9.6%, that is 406,460 cases, from children between 10 and 19 years of age, with 15 deaths.

The deaths were 21, the previous day 17, a slight increase, but the numbers are lower and lower.
