TRIESTE It is called Omicron BA.2 or more commonly Omicron 2 and it is the most contagious version of the Sars-CoV-2 virus ever. Its origins are still unclear. We know that it is Omicron’s “sister”, identified for the first time in South Africa and which now has a majority in Italy.
