Omni-glide: Dyson’s smallest vacuum cleaner

by admin

The Omni-glide is Dyson’s latest stick vacuum – it’s also the smallest and the only one that’s only suitable for floors and not for carpets or rugs. It is the first Dyson with an omnidirectional cleaning head that moves on four wheels in 360 degrees. With the Omni-glide you can wipe in any direction, forward, backward, sideways. It features two soft brushes that rotate in opposite directions to dust floors and pick up dirt of any size.

The Dyson Omni-glide is especially meant for small apartments or quick cleanings, just like a broom. It is light and does not tire the wrist, and above all it can also be used completely flat, to clean under furniture. Effortlessly glides around obstacles and cleans well along skirting boards and hard-to-reach places thanks to the small cleaning head

For this new format, Dyson engineers have designed a device with all the most famous technologies of the English company arranged in line, including the Hyperdymium motor which rotates at 105,000 rpm. There remains the five-stage filtration system, which ensures effective suction of fine dust hidden in hard-to-reach spaces, capturing 99.97% of particles smaller than 0.3 microns and expelling clean air.

Very comfortable to use, it is suitable for people who are not very tall, since it is just over a meter long. It transforms into an excellent hand vacuum cleaner, remaining handy and functional, thanks to the other accessories provided for cleaning crevices, dusting and vacuuming dust even in tight spaces. The vacuum cleaner also allows you to set the highest suction speed when needed, and has a bin emptying system that allows you to open it in one quick movement without getting your hands dirty.

The autonomy is about 20 minutes, but the battery is removable; the Omni-glide also comes with a wall dock that keeps the vacuum cleaner charged and ready to use. On sale in Italy from today, in two models: Dyson Omniglide, at 399 euros; and Dyson Omniglide +, at 429 euros (only on Dyson.it and Dyson Demo Store).
